About us

BDC - Becoming Digitally Conscious is an Erasmus+ KA2 project that runs from January 2022 to June 2024.

The BDC project aims to promote healthy digital habits among young European people, whose ages range between 18 to 25, and mitigate the issue of digital addiciton. European societies are progressively incorporating digital devices in various areas of life, which is followed in many cases by the spread of excessive and pathological internet use. With the development of non-formal tools on the promotion of digital competences, we hope to raise young people’s awareness of the potential dangers of the excessive use of digital devices, and how incorporating physically active and expressive activities in their routines can reduce their screen time and benefit their mental health and overall wellbeing.

Objectives
  1. To develop a program of educational activities for young people on the conscious use of digital devices.
  2. To train a cluster of youth workers who can implement these educational activities.
  3. To successfully raise awareness about the effects of excessive internet use around the partner countries.
